João Miguel arrived just in time for the inauguration of our new studios and to complete the team of partners in Sonido São Paulo.

 

A composer, music producer, multi-instrumentalist and singer, João is the co-creator of The Twelves, the worldwide acclaimed electronic act having played on huge festivals like Coachella(USA), Hardfest (USA), SXSW (USA), Rock in Rio (Brazil & Portugal), SWU, Lovebox (UK), Transmusicalles (FR), Montreaux Jazz Festival (Swiss), Groovin’ the Moo (Australia), Slottsfjell (Sweeden), Calvi on the Rocks (FR), Razzmatazz(Spain), Sonar, Exit Festival (Serbia), RMC, Nokia Trends, Motomix, XXXperience, Creamfileds, Mecca Festival, Primavera Fauna (Chile) and many others. They also made remixes for artists like M.I.A., Black Kids, Daft Punk, Two Door Cinema Club, Groove Armada, Metric, Aha, La Roux, The Virgins, Yuksek, Kylie Minogue, Fever Ray, Munk, Erlend Oye, Pompeya, New Young Pony Club, Husky Rescue and others. Some remixes were feautured on video-games like “EA’s Fifa Soccer 2009”, “Forza Horizon” e “SSX”, ads and TV sitcoms “Glee”, “Beverly Hills 90210” and “Gossip Girl”.

 

At Sonido, he is the producer that ranks the highest when it comes to hardcore tech, including our 360/VR audio department. Recently he created and launched his solo project Plucking Wings.
